About Joe
Joe began a career in radio broadcasting that spanned 15 years, working at a number of broadcast stations in the northeast including WBRY, WWCO, WDRC, and WKSN radio, and television at WATR-TV.
There is life after radio! Stage work including acting in everything from comedy to drama and even some musicals! Joe continued behind the microphone, voicing commercial insertions for area cable television franchises and regional spots for radio.
Today, from his studio in Connecticut, Joe continues narration and voice characterizations with voice acting for digital animation and documentary films. Audio drama plays a big part in Joe’s studio work. He has appeared in productions from Colonial Radio Theatre On The Air, Precarious Audio Theater, Broken Sea Audio Productions and Misfits Audio. He has also appeared in independent film productions and has voiced some figures of historical note, including author James Thurber and Civil War Union hero, General William T. Sherman.
Recently, Joe appeared as Grandpa Martin Vanderhoff in You Can’t Take It With You.
Joe can currently be heard in Professor Hoyt’s Remarkable Elixir , a Strange Stores episode by Mike Murphy at MisfitsAudio.com and has the recurring role of President Richard Duncan in THE ADMINISTRATION, also at Misfits.
In addition, he can be heard in upcoming episodes of Perry Mason, produced by The Colonial Radio Theater on XM and Sirius satellite radio.
